Tested this very simple recipe for Saint Jacques with fondue, it is very easy to make and it is happiness to taste.

Recipe ingredients

  • Saint Jacques recipe with leek fondue for 4 people:
  • 600 g of scallops
  • 4 Leeks
  • 60 g butter
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 10 cl of dry white wine

Instructions

  1. Cut off the tips of the leeks, remove the first two leaves.
  2. Rinse the leeks with clean water.
  3. Finely chop the leek evenly.
  4. Heat 40 g of butter and olive oil.
  5. Lightly brown the leek slices.
  6. Add the white wine and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, the leeks should be tender and not grilled, set aside.
  7. Melt the rest of the butter in the pan.
  8. Sear the scallops on both sides for a few minutes, be careful not to overcook them.
  9. Pepper and salt
  10. Serve immediately.
