Recipe for chocolate and praline cake, beware, here is a cake revisited by a great pastry chef, we are still full of pleasure. I love all the chocolate desserts here it is married with pink pralines that I have mixed. They give a different consistency to the cake. It’s like a big candy, especially for the pink part, the two got mixed up a bit when baking. More and more pleasure to taste these new generation cakes.

Recipe ingredients

  • Chocolate and praline cake recipe for 6 people:
  • Pink praline part
  • 70 g (4) egg yolks
  • 105 g caster sugar
  • 55 g heavy cream
  • 85 g flour
  • 35 g butter
  • 2 g baking powder
  • 150 g of praline
  • Chocolate party
  • 70 g (4) egg yolks
  • 95 g caster sugar
  • 55 g heavy cream
  • 65 g flour
  • 30g butter
  • 2 g baking powder
  • 40 g chocolate chips
  • 15 gr of cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 140 °
  2. Chocolate party
  3. Sift the flour and baking powder.
  4. Place the sugar, flour, baking powder and vanilla powder in the food processor.
  5. Mix for a few seconds.
  6. Separate the eggs.
  7. Add the egg yolks.
  8. Add the softened butter.
  9. Pour in the cream.
  10. Let the food processor turn until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
  11. Add the cocoa powder.
  12. Finish with the addition of nuggets, a little bit of the mixer.
  13. Reserve in the refrigerator, the time to prepare the mold.
  14. Praline part
  15. Mix the pink pralines to make them powder
  16. Prepare the dough as for chocolate.
  17. Add the praline powder.
  18. Reserve in the refrigerator, the time to prepare the mold.
  19. Line the pan with parchment paper, starting with the long sides.
  20. Butter and flour if you don’t line it, it’s up to you.
  21. Pour the preparation into the lined mold, starting with the chocolate dough.
  22. Then add praline paste.
  23. Finish with the chocolate dough.
  24. Bake in the hot oven for 1 hour and a half.
  25. Unmold the hot cake and place on a wire rack to cool.
